Carla Meeske
I’m Carla Meeske, a fine art photographer, and a 30 year shamanic practitioner. My mission is to bring the magical night sky into our hearts with breathtaking landscapes that are alive with the stars. The name for my genre is Nightscapes.
When I find the perfect remote and dark location, I set up at dusk and shoot long into the night. Using an astro-modified camera and a star tracker that moves with the Earth to keep the stars sharp, I capture extended exposures of the sky and the foreground. These elements are then seamlessly blended into one divine image. The magic unfolds in Photoshop, where I enhance the colors to evoke the drama of our enchanting Southwestern earth and sky.
My prints are available on semigloss metal, which enhances the shimmer without glare, metallic paper and acrylic. This beautiful bold art creates a captivating centerpiece for any space. View these images with a dreaming eye and feel the loving presence of the stars within your heart. Visit https://milkynight.com to see all my work, and find the perfect print for your home.
